TRAINING
We have a very robust recruitment procedure that focuses in ensuring that Safeguarding is one of the most important aspects, including experience; qualification; knowledge of staff.
We provide a clear induction and training program for our staff. We have also accessed Local Authorities training program.
High performance is expected at all times from members of staff, who are expected to adhere to high standards of personal integrity. Unfortunately, we recognise that of this is not the case then we have a clear system in place to rectify this and take appropriate action to ensure that we learn from this and where required action will be taken against the staff.
Confidentiality and Privacy
Bright Futures Haven respects service users’ rights to privacy and confidentiality. Service users are expected to sign a confidentiality contract as part of their tenancy agreement.
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
All staff recruited is the subject of a stringent recruitment process which ensure all staff have an Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; checked references; certificates and an application form which includes all employment history including any gaps. Every staff will have an induction program that will include; Child protection and Safe Guarding; Non crises intervention; working with clients; permissible controls; bulling; working with the client group.
At Bright Futures Haven, our workers are appropriately trained before they start working with us.
Our comprehensive induction training which is regularly updated to all the latest standards means that we are confident in the competence of all of our staff.
